Crescendo Campaign

Crescendo Campaign

To meet the needs of our expanding community, we are launching the Cantate Crescendo Campaign, which supports of our ambitious 2026-2027 season and promotes our long-term stability. This year, we will offer more compelling works with orchestras and instrumental ensembles and expand our venues to accommodate larger audiences and more complex artistic needs. With an eye to the future, we’re converting our hardworking contract staff to employees and even opening an office space in the heart of our community. Cantate’s growth means we’re more broadly and authentically achieving our mission to build community through choral music. Thank you for adding your voice to the crescendo.

Lift Every Voice

Lift Every Voice

Lift Every Voice is a paid fellowship for emerging professional BIPOC (Black Indigenous, and People of Color) Choral Scholars. These artists will provide skilled support to Cantate Concert Choir on each of its three season concerts while receiving professional-level training and first-hand experience in the performance of varied choral repertoire. In the program’s second full year (2025-2026) each of these fellows will receive additional support and opportunities from Cantate’s community of seasoned arts professionals: resume consulting, vocal coaching, two oratorio masterclasses open to the public, access to oratorio rehearsals and performances with Cantate and partner organizations, and a solo showcase with orchestra incorporated into Cantate’s December concert. Fellows will emerge from their residency with Cantate better prepared to advance their musical careers in the choral field.
